2022 COACHING STAFF
Galen Snyder - Head Coach
Coach Snyder begins his 2nd tenure as Head Football Coach at Pennsbury High School. Coach Snyder guided Pennsbury Football to PIAA District One Championships in 2006 and 2014. He also led the Falcons to SOL National titles in 2009, 2012, 2013 & 2014. As a player, Coach Snyder was a Captain for Coach Dundala’s undefeated 1985 Pennsbury Falcon squad as well as a Captain for the 1990 Columbia University Football Team. Coach Snyder teaches social studies at Pennsbury High School. He and his wife Amy have three adult children.
Matthew Ott - Offensive Line
Coach Ott is a graduate of Archbishop Ryan High School and Delaware Valley University. Coach Ott played football at both schools. He current is a teacher in the BCIT Department at PHS.
Tony Checchia - Safeties
Coach Checchia is a graduate of Council Rock South High School and Muhlenberg College. He played football at both schools. He enters his 8th year of coaching and his first at PHS after spending the past seven years at CR South. Coach Checchia currently teaches Social Studies at the Sloan School in Council Rock and resides in Northeast Philadelphia
Dave Crocker - Offensive Line
Andrew Spano graduated from Bensalem High School in 2000 and from Ursinus College n 2004 after a four-year playing career. He has a BS in Physics. Andrew started his coaching career in 2005 at Bensalem High School as an offensive line coach and has also been an offensive line coach at Upper Moreland high school. He currently resides in Warminster Township with his wife Laura and two daughters Brienna and Alexandra.
Blake Baker - Defensive Backs
Former Falcon Coach Baker returns to the orange and black is in his first season as a Pennsbury defensive backs coach. Coach Baker continued his playing career at West Chester University where he graduated with a degree in Political Science. Coach Baker currently works as an Autistic Support Aide at Hatboro Horsham High School. Coach Baker resides in Hatboro, with his football loving family wife Colleen, son Jaxson, and dog Tootsie.
Greg Lichtenstein - Rovers/Whips
Coach Lichtenstein graduated from Pennsbury in 2016. He went on to Temple University where he received both his Undergraduate and Masters degrees in Finance. This will be Coach Lichtenstein’s first year with the football program. He has been apart of the Pennsbury Lacrosse program for the past 4 years. Coach Lichtenstein currently works as a Financial Planning Associate in Newtown and resides in Levittown.
Brian Leible - A - Back & Offensive Line
Coach Leible graduated from Bensalem High School in 2014 where he played offensive tackle and defensive end. He attended West Chester University and graduated with a degree in Earth and Space Science Education in 2018. Mr. Leible teaches science at Unami Middle School in Central Bucks where he also coaches basketball and lacrosse. He has coached 8th grade football the past two years, and this is his first year coaching high school football for the Falcons. He currently resides in Bensalem.
Frank Reinhardt - Offensive Assistant
Coach Reinhardt is a Neshaminy High School graduate. He has been coaching football since 2004. Frank most recently coached offensive and defensive line at Mastbaum Vocational High School in Philadelphia. Mr. Reinhardt is an IT Professional employed by a multinational investment bank. He recently moved to Yardley, PA with his wife Dana and their 3 children , Nathan, Grace and Annunciata.
Wayne Demore - Wide Receivers / Tight Ends
Coach Demore is an English teacher at Pennsbury High School as well as the Boys Track and Field coach. In previous years, coach has worked with Linebackers, Running backs, Defensive Backs and now the Wide Receiving group. Coach Demore is a West Chester University graduate who resides in Langhorne with his wife Sharon and their 1 year old daughter Caroline.
Ryan Brady - Defensive Line
Coach Brady is a graduate of Bensalem High School, Class of 2008. After graduation, he attended Shippensburg University and graduated in 2012. Coach Brady is entering his fourth season with the Falcons and coaching Defensive Line. He is currently a Funeral Director for Tomlinson Funeral Home, P.C. and resides in Yardley with his wife Allie, daughter Hailey and son Ronan.
Jerry W. Coffey, Jr. - Freshman Head Coach
Coach Coffey graduated from Morrisville High School. He Played 2 years Varsity Football at Trenton State College (College of New Jersey) then served 6 years in the U.S Navy. He has coached at Morrisville High School, Steinert High School, Hamilton High School West and William Penn Middle School. Jerry has been an offensive line and linebacker coach. Mr Coffey lives in Levittown, PA with his wife Michele. Their three daughters and two grandchildren live nearby.
Shan Barrett, ATC - Athletic Trainer
Shan Barrett ensures that Pennsbury student athletes in grades 9-12 receive appropriate on-site injury care and treatment. He hold a Bachelor of Science degree in athletic Training from West Chester University. Mr. Barrett and his wife Tara, has a son, Patrick.
